Exciting news - we have designed Canadian Powder Tours for all of the above!

These tours are designed to help both:

an intermediate skier with no powder experience have a chance to ski it confidently.
a veteran of powder, to go to the next level and allow you to ski the powder more effortlessly and faster!

The tours will be 11 days with 8 to 9 days of skiing, visiting the premier resorts of Panorama, Kimberley, Fernie, and Castle Mountain, Whitewater, Red Mountain with an add-on option to go Cat-Skiing.

We use our highly popular and successful “guided-coaching” approach that allows you to maximize your ski time, while being coached. It allows you to ski better and go places you may not have gone on your own, all in a fun and safe environment. You will have the option to receive as much or as little coaching as you like, depending on your style. You will learn how to tackle powder and all other situations over the 9 days.

The Canadian Rockies Powder Tour

We pick you up in Calgary and start off visiting Panorama Ski Resort and Kimberley Ski Resort which both offer lots of great terrain and uncrowded slopes with a good chance of fresh tracks.

Next is Fernie, a resort known to have more powder days than any other ski resort in the Rockies. More good news! You will be ready for the powder with the instruction you will have already received, geared to getting powder ready!

It then goes to the next level when we offer you the option to go CAT-SKIING where you will have a chance to ski endless powder and experience the famous Canadian Rockies backcountry! And the great thing is - you will be ready for it!

You will be taken by cat to the tops of peaks for spectacular views, amazing surroundings, and nobody around except you and your small group of fellow skiers. It will be magical!

We have carefully chosen a cat-skiing company that can cater to all levels of skiers from intermediate to expert. Also, we will be there to continue to coach you with your powder technique! No one will be left behind, and no one left unchallenged!

Big powder day - March 2006 Tour

Finally, you will visit the biggest ski secret in the Canadian Rockies - Castle Mountain Ski Resort. It is the most coveted spot by local skiers throughout the Rockies for its powder and terrain! It’s still a secret because destination skiers cannot get to it. It has amazing fall lines and large acreage of skiing that can take days to track out after a snow fall, with so few skiers!

The Powder Highway Tour

This tour offers a similar type of itinerary as our popular Canadian Rockies Powder Tour, except we notch up the skier level and pace, visiting the Resorts of Fernie, Whitewater, Red Mountain, and Castle. We offer the same type of build up for your chance to experience powder and be ready for it with the guided coaching you receive.

We start with pick-up at the Calgary Airport and then whisk you off to Fernie for a couple days of skiing before we travel deeper into powder country and visit Whitewater and Red Mountain. The “Powder Highway” expression is used by those in Western Canada to describe this area as it is known for consistently high snowfalls.

We then offer you the opportunity to go CAT-SKIING in the famous Monashees, before heading to Castle, still the best kept secret in this part of the world for great terrain and fresh tracks in-resort days after a snowfall!

This tour promises to be fast-paced and full of fresh turns for those looking to up their ski experience!

All the Tours are designed for a Wednesday arrival in Calgary and a Saturday departure from Calgary. Therefore you have the choice of flying with a Chartered Airline such as Air Canada or British Airways, or you may choose a charter flight with companies like ZOOM, Air Transat, or Inghams.

Lastly, you can make your Canadian Ski Holiday a full two weeks by adding on 3 days of skiing and 4 nights accommodation at the end of your DreamSki Adventure to enjoy the skiing in Banff at Lake Louise an Sunshine Village.
